What’s most important in cross-ethnic and cross-cultural roommate relations? Lifestyle similarities can overcome cultural differences, according to new findings from Amy Niu’s Masters thesis project. Her study, based on a survey of 500 undergrads, highlights ideal traits of a good house fellow and factors most important to students’ satisfaction with residence hall life.
